- Aloha! I have been an artist all of my life. I was born in Seattle, Washington, and from an early age,began to teach myself to draw and paint. artists are driven to paint what they love. For me that is landscapes, flowers, portraits of people and animals. My mediums are watercolr and oil on canvas. For many years my love of the Hawaiian Islands has been a driving force behind my work. I consider Hawaii one of the most inspiring places to paint!
